Bio:
No one really knows how Xiao came to be. The oldest record of his appearance was in the 1100s, when he single-handedly slew a camp of bandits that were terrorizing a nearby town. Most accounts dictate how Xiao would beat his opponents with a single sword strike after studying their movement in battle- still other, though less credible accounts, say that Xiao had great affinity for swords, being able to move his sword without touching it physically, or being able to summon copies of his sword to do his bidding.
When dealing with most people, Xiao is painfully concise. He will not say more words than he has to, whether it is to acknowledge his acquaintance, to sap information, or to challenge someone in a sword fight. He also has a strong sense of self-worth, and will refuse to communicate whatsoever with people whom he deems are not worth his time. He doesn't frequent clubs or restaurants as he deems them a waste of his time, and spends most of it practicing either his swordsmanship or his flute, or brewing tea.
At the heart of Xiao's character, though, is the degree of closeness he has with the art of the sword. When he sees a sword user, Xiao gets the inexplicable urge to challenge him/her in a sword duel, if only to discover more about the art of the sword, or to measure the height of his own swordplay. Similarly, Xiao goes out of his way to make sure that people who are terrible with the sword, or whom do terrible things with swords, drop the art of swordplay completely- even if it means killing these people. Consequently, Xiao has had the blood of many a swordsman on his hands, and his name is infamous among villains. Like the sword, he also has an incredible level of focus that can be mistaken for determination; he will not ease up until he achieves his goal.
Xiao has taken up residence in the city and roams around quite frequently. Sword users are cautioned not to approach him for their safety.

He doesn't have a lot of swordmen to go after here.
